Yes, Gaphor is fine and already rather powerful.

You can also have a look at OpenSwarm: http://openswarm.sourceforge.net/

It is an UML -> Python/SQL generator tool with some kind of runtime 
architecture. Sadly, still alpha and with-out GUI or Gaphor support.
