BIOS Changes (enable WOL)

I was wondering if it is possible to access the BIOS settings on a
system using Python.  I would like to be able to write a script that
would enable WOL on a specified system.  For the most part, it would be
Win32 systems, but could be just about any flavor of UNIX as well.
