How to upgrade python from 2.4.3 to 2.4.4 ?

I run Windows.  Only a fraction of the packages I've stored up actually
require compiling anything.

Further, as I understand it, Python 2.4 extensions can be built with the
free "express edition" compiler from Microsoft.
