installing numpy

I followed your suggestions, it built the package ok, while it was
building, I noticed lots of lines going by the screen in groups of
different colors, white, yellow, red.
the red got my attention:

Could not locate executable gfortran
Could not locate executable f95
****************

is there a way to find out if the built is fine and it is using the
high performance libraries?
