IRC questions!!

Assuming you're familiar with the basics of IRC.

In mIRC, File->Select Server->Add, enter "Freenode" as description,
enter "irc.freenode.net" as server. Leave the port as 6667, then change
it later if server supports other ports.

Click connect to server.
