using capicom with python

COM dll's usually aren't designed to be used directly.
You request instances of the interfaces they implement
by guid or program id.

import win32com.client
certstore=win32com.client.Dispatch('capicom.store')
certstore.Open(StoreName='Root')
for cert in certstore.Certificates:
    print 'SubjectName:', cert.SubjectName, 'IssuerName:', cert.IssuerName
