Python to log into web site

Hi,

I have been browsing around the net looking for a way (hopefully an easily
implemented module) to log into a web site using python. The site I wish to
log into is an internal site which requires email address and password for
authentication. Does anyone have any suggestions or links that might point
me in the right direction?
