I get zero hits for that file on google.  are you sure that's not an 
in-house tool ?  asking comp.lang.python for help on internal tools 
isn't exactly optimal.

any reason you cannot switch to the built-in "csv" module instead, so 
you can use the solutions you've already gotten ?
