Slightly OT: Adding Objective C to my toolbox

Question background: I've been using Python as my primary language for
several years now and have done all my non-trivial development in Python.
I've now got a Mac and want to do some development using the Core * features
in OS X in ObjC. I know I could use the PyObjC bindings, but ObjC seems to
have enough stretch-my-brain features that I think it would be fun to learn.

My question: If you've learned ObjC after Python, what resources did you
use? Right now I'm focusing on the free docs, but would like to pickup some
decent reference books. Stuff along the lines of "Learning Python, 2nd ed"
where you learn not just the basics, but also develop "real" apps in the
process. Also, are there any gotcha's that got you?

Curious...Thanks!
