Profiling results

Hello All,

I'm trying to profile a Python program using gprof,
but I don't understand some of the results, especially
what some of the functions do. For example, _moncount,
mcount, _PyEval_EvalFrame <cycle X> take too much
time. What are they for? Any ideas?
