You'll notice I have moved your reply underneath the posting it replied 
to, which is normally the easiest way for readers to follow a thread. 
Please try to avoid "top posting".

The reason you can't run Tkinter applications under PythonWin is that 
PythonWin does not use a separate process to run the modules you ask it 
to execute.

Since PythonWin used MFC-style windowing, there is a conflict between 
the event-handling loops of the two different windowing systems.
