Webbrowser On Windows

Hello NG,

      I am using the webbrowser module (on Windows 2000/XP), and I am
wondering if anyone knows how to use the input arguments "new". On Windows,
it seems to be ignored. By looking at the commands it does on Windows:

class WindowsDefault:
    def open(self, url, new=0, autoraise=1):
        os.startfile(url)

    def open_new(self, url):
        self.open(url)

It seems to me that there is no way to create a new instance of Internet
Explorer (if there are already some IE windows opened).
Does anyone know a possible solution? Or a workaround (without using
startfile, maybe?) that will force IE to create a new instance?

Thank you for every suggestions.

Andrea.
