Well, in Evolution I'd probably just set up another account with a bogus
email address and whenever I post to lists, simply select that account
to send from.  In a newsreader, you can set your email address to
anything you like, so it's about the same there.  I'm not sure about
other mailers, but I'd guess that as long as they support having more
than one email address it should be fairly simple.
