#- Just starting out with python. I can get Google.py and Amazon.py
#- working at home but in the office the proxy requires authorization.
#-
#- Is there an easy way to pass the username and password?
#- If not, is there a work around?

What kind of proxy-auth?

Here at office I need to auth NTLM, and use the excellent (free and in
python) http://apserver.sourceforge.net/. The only drawback is that is a
standalone program, it's not already prepared to use it like a module.
