rrdtool and Python

Hello,

I'm looking for a library to use rrdtool directly from python on windows
- http://sourceforge.net/projects/py-rrdtool/ seems still in beta
- http://www.pypackage.org/packages/python-rrdtool doesn't have any
documentation
 and I don't know how to compile the code and if it's windows compliant

If anybody have solutions for me it will be welcome ;-)
