I find this (epydoc) format quite helpful, as it seems a little more thorough.
I think the std. documentation has its own strong points [http://www.python.org/doc/current/index.html], but would benefit from a built-in (full text) search function; sometimes information is not where I would look for it (finding it assumes knowledge not already absorbed).
A community/wiki aspect would be useful, as it would seem to have a natural dynamic of documenting that which most requires more documentation in practice.
However, I think it would be a great advantage to have one place to look (as already the information is out there, it's just a question of where, and how much time will I need to spend finding it)
