Although I've never heard it before a Google search 
(http://tinyurl.com/2ea32) reveals that it's a somewhat common 
expression, so you probably don't need Chris' permission.

If you're serious about the t-shirts take Chris' half (sorry Chris) and 
donate it to the PSF. If it's a good enough design, I'll buy one.
