FOLDOC, the Free On-Line Dictionary Of Computing, is usually a very good 
reference.  The main site is http://wombat.doc.ic.ac.uk/foldoc/, but there 
are many mirrors, and it's available in a format suitable for the Unix 
dict program.  What's more, it includes the complete jargon file inside of 
it. :)
