COM freethreaded mode bug?

I encountered strange behaviour while using freethreaded mode and
InternetExplorer control. After setting sys.coinit_flags = 0 I lost
possiblity to get the values of Document.Frames collection - I get
'interface not implemented' (-2147467262), but all other Document
collections (images, all, scripts) seem to work fine! Commenting coinit flag
returns proper execution but I need to use it anyhow.
