My IDLE editor wont work!

# hi, I have a problem on my comp - I'm using win2000, and the IDLE editor
won't open when I try to execute it.
# I tried to uninstall the python versions(yes I had one older installed
also) and reinstalled 2.3.4. That doesn't help.

Execute it from the command line, to see the errors, and tell us.
