Yes, but NOT YET. Wait for the proposal draft which I promise will be
posted to c.l.p. by 9:00 A.M. GMT -08:00 (PST) Monday morning. Tell me
concerns you (anyone) has with any part of it. Give me a small amount of
time to rewrite. Read the rewrites. Comment. Read the final. Sign it for
or against at that point.

That's the best process, at this stage, for this proposal. If someone
else wants to do the same for C1, I don't think Guido would be opposed
to it--but someone has to step up and do the work, both the proposal and
more importantly an implementation.
