Global config option - import issues again.....

Been looking at using ConfigParser, which might be worth doing, but
still doesn't help me select which .ini/.conf file to parse in the
first place.

I don't want to set a Registry value for the language to use, and I
don't want to have to read/parse the .ini file for each imported
module.

How do people deal with swapping languages around at runtime?
Is anyone going to reply to this thread but me?! ;-)
