hi,
The below text is from library reference doc 'random --Generate pseudo-random numbers.' What i would like to know is what the word 'internal states' means with context to seed value?? i am just learning python and finding it pretty interesting, challenging(that it is!). I know abit OOP and in my point it states about the state of the object??

-whseed([x])
This is obsolete, supplied for bit-level compatibility with versions of Python prior to 2.1. See seed for details. whseed does not guarantee that distinct integer arguments yield distinct internal states, and can yield no more than about 2**24 distinct internal states<<<<here guyz> in all.

Cheers,
Ryan.
