Check out Mark Hammond's book " Python Programming on Win32 " ORA ISBN 1- 
56592-621-8 pg. 443-445
WSH can drive, or be driven by python, I believe there are some examples in 
win32all.  I've used it about 2 years ago for some work with the registry 
(that thing is evil if your not just writting or reading a key).
