Wanted - ICQ client module for Python (or C)

Hi,

Does anyone have, or know of, a basic python module which implements an
ICQ client?

I'm not looking for a complete ICQ client program - rather, just a library
of python routines.

I'm working on an app which currently works via direct TCP connections,
but I want it to be able to use other transports - eg IRC, MSN, AIM, ICQ,
HTTP.

I've checked the Vaults, but there seems to be nothing there for ICQ.

Thoughts?
