If you have not done so yet, go to
http://groups.google.com/groups?hl=en&lr=&ie=UTF-8&group=comp.lang.python
enter 'web administration ' or some such, click () search in clp only,
and go.
This gives 160 items to look thru -- maybe a couple with be helpful.

There are over 2000 python projects at sourceforge.net, but the search
engine is down at the moment.  Maybe a couple there would help.
