can't not run python cgi script on the windows 2003 via iis6

Hi:

We use to be able to run a simple python cgi script on windows2000
servers, but now with windows2003 iis6. I know I should just run this
on Unix based system. But my company need to use 2003.  we get a cgi
time out like this:

CGI Timeout
The specified CGI application exceeded the allowed time for
processing. The server has deleted the process.
----------------------------------------------------

I have followed this url

the php seems to be working, but python is not. We use active state
python 2.2.2.
