Has anyone tried this on a linux box? It doesn't work quite well, at least 
on my system, python 2.2-2.2.2, wxPython-2.4.0.6 and numeric 20.0-23.0. 
Unfortunatelly, Gordon is not in position to debug the module on linux, so 
this is where we jump in :-)

So, if you are using wxPyPlot on linux, please post your findings here, or 
even better, on wxPython mailing list (newsserver: news.gmane.org, group: 
gmane.comp.python.wxpython).
