Pycon DC was terrific

Last week's Pycon in Washington DC was a wonderful experience for me,
and for most everybody I talked to there.

Zope 3 (plus Adaptable Storage in Zope 2) and Twisted were the
headline acts for seminar presentations, with lots of new info and
good discussions.

The only problem I had was schedule conflicts between two or three
sessions that I wanted to attend at the same time, certainly a good
kind of problem to have. And even then, you could usually catch up
with the presenters in the Grand Ballroom during unstructured time.
Lively impromptu seminars were going on all the time.

The cheap, er reasonable, registration fee made it fairly easy to
attend, and it even included plenty of coffee, soda, snacks, and all
the tortilla wraps you cared to eat for lunch.

Many thanks to the PSF, the sponsors, the organizers, Guido, and
conference chairman / master of ceremonies Steve Holden.
