Normal doesn't quite mean random; the Champernowne constant
(0.123456789101112...) is proven to be normal, for instance, but it is
hardly what one would consider random. I don't know if choosing very
large indexes into the Champernowne's decimal expansion would be
considered sufficiently random; I suppose it would.
But, as I said, in any case, pi is _suspected_ of being normal, but it
is not yet known to be.
