Postgresql: plpython may be removed

How so?  I use PostgreSQL from Python and have never heard of plpython.  I
use psycopg which is well-supported, albeit not by the PostgreSQL folks.
Similarly, mysql-python (aka MySQLdb) is stable and widely used to talk to
MySQL databases even though it's not supported by the MySQL folks.  I
suspect that sort of relationship is true of most packages and their Python
interfaces.
