Win32 and the MENUITEMINFO structure

Hello,

Maybe I missed something. Using ActivePython 2.2
and Win2k sp3, I see no way to read a
    MENUITEMINFO structure.

To get this functionality I coded some VB and
exposed some methods via COM to Python. What other
options do I have to implement non-MFC code to be
able to use this structure.

Is it possible to make a PYD for this code (after
conversion to C) using Visual Studio? I've never
done this before, but I have at least one sample.
