SSH Control Through Python

I'm looking for some modules or what-not with which I could use to 
connect to a remote host by way of SSH. pyssh looks as though it only 
sends one command. I'd like to be able to log in and send commands as I 
generate them (essentially I'm writing a program that will let me run 
certain shell scripts and other items remotely). I searched google 
groups but I can't seem to find a clear answer.
