No one has a right to have their messages delivered for free by other
people.
Newgroups are as spam-free as they are precisely because of the threat
and historical actuality of the Usenet Death Penalty

It is unfortunate that the same process will have to be gone thru for
email.  But the fault is with ISPs who collect fees to collaborate
with spammers -- who are willing to kill the goose for their piece of
the meat.
