pycrypto, PEM, DER extract keys

I need to use RSA with keys given in DER and PEM formatted files.
I found the function google("openssl_get_privatekey") but it is only
for C and PHP programmers. Is there a way in Python and
PyCrypto to do this? Thanks in advance.
