How about simply 'P' or 'p' as a suitable name?  It worked for C.

I find the idea of implementing as much as possible within itself highly
attractive.  Don't forget that Porsche orginally targetted safety , then
reliability, and only thence performance. But the high-performance
arrived naturally by their construction... The same could/should well be
true for minimal-Python.
