biggles on windows

Hi,

I tried to install the 2d plotting package biggles
(http://biggles.sf.net) on my Win2K machine. I use
ActiveState python.

My problem is the following: when using the binary
installer for biggles, the installer does not
find my python installation and entering the
apropriate path manually is not possible.

I posted the problem to the biggles mailing list
but got no answer.
Did anyone manage this problem ?
