Oracle + Python = External Call

Hi, PyFolks.

Does anybody have an idea how to make external methods in Python which will be 
available in PL/SQL? I think it might be possible to make an C-layer first, 
which will be loaded by Oracle and can be like a binding to the Python.

Is this idea is good enought to implement or just pure crap? :)
