PyUt on Windows

hello,
i found the very interesting PyUt
(http://pyut.sourceforge.net/features.php), an UML app in python for python
and java.

i installed version 20020712 on my windows machine with the downloadable
exe-installer with no problem at all but i am unable to get the newer and
more featureladen version 20021106 installed (windows xp).
the program starts but is very very slow and the the mouse cursor is
constantly flickering in the main window, the main window ist not usable at
all, also the app cannot be closed without killing it through the
taskmanager.
version number says 1.1 although i thought it should be 1.2, it might be
that the two version are somehow mangled (i first deinstalled the 20020712
properly though).

has anyone had similar problems or maybe build an installable exe file? (i
tried "python setup.py install")
