sql problem

hi ,
i' am a french developper ,new with zope and interbase(python)
i work with zope and interbase 6.1and windows2000 i have instaled the adapter kinterbasedbAD1.x 
 
 
for testing my connection  i wrote """select name from tablex"""
 
 
i have the follow message::::
Error Type: ProgrammingError
Error Value: (-901, 'execute.isc_dsql_prepare: Dynamic SQL Error. SQL error code = -901. feature is not supported. ')

 
i don' t understand what is the problem 
 
please help me
