How does one get "maintenance copies"

The bugfix releases (2.2.1, 2.2.2, etc) are usually announced on 
c.l.py.announce and on the Python website.  The latest versions can be 
downloaded there also, for example: http://www.python.org/2.2.3/.
2.3.1 isn't out yet though.
