But what continuations *are* is a mechanism that can be
very useful to those experimenting with metalinguistics
in computer programming language. In that sense, they are
very lispish. It's certainly true that continuations have
enabled me to build a framework that resembles something
that otherwise is best implemented in a first class language
(and also a temptation to do just that).
