Problem: 1040, too many connections

Hello,

we do a mysql-Connection (Mysql 3.23.41, MySQL-python-0.9.2) from python
scripts in ZOPE under SUSE Linux 7.3.
And we have no problems.

Now we set up a new server with Mysql 4.0.12 instead of 3.23.41. And since
that we get the problem "1040, too many connections" when we start a python
script which perform a lot of SQL-Statements.

Any hints?
