I don't belive Guido has said what (if anything) he's going to do.
Right now, he's busy with release 2.3. When he makes up his mind,
you'll see it in the PEP 308 writeup. Either he'll reject it, or he'll
put
in the way he intends to implement it. (At least, I hope he will.)
