IDLE Default Save Directory

Hi -

I'm just getting up and running with Python(2.11)/IDLE(.8) on SuSE 7.3.
Hope this is not a too "duh" question.   I've looked but can not find
how to change the default "Save" and "Save As" directories in IDLE.
Have looked at the various configuration files but don't know the syntax
or the [Section] to make these changes.

Would someone please give me some examples of a customized config file
(maybe .idle) so I can make some changes.
