How to use: QMenuBar

I'm newbie to Python and QT. I can't find a soloution to implement a menu 
bar in an existing project (using QT gui). Is there someone, who can give 
an easy example, e. g. File / Save / bla bla?

python 2.1.1, QT 2.3.1, Linux
