This is a good question; it has been asked frequently.  If you don't get
much response, you might want to check the archives (the advanced search at
http://groups.google.com/ is quite handy, you can filter on
comp.lang.python...)

By the way, please send plain text to the list if you can.  That big
notebook theme scares the bejesus out of me.  <wink>
