smtpd written in python?

is anyone aware of python smtp server projects, especially like this one:

qpsmtpd is a drop-in replacement for the dumb qmail-smtpd program 
supplied with the qmail distribution. i've been dying to get rid of 
qmail-smtpd, so i'm pretty excited with this project. its README even 
says that qpsmtpd has been used on many production servers for years. 
that sounds nicer.

in the python world so far i've only found an smtpd module from the 
twisted project. are there any others?
