International APPs / pygettext

Hi,

I want to write a program supporting multiple languages.
The Python-Documentation refers to the module "gettext" 
(http://www.python.org/doc/2.2.1/lib/node206.html) and "pygettext".

"gettext" is included in the Python 2.2 distribution, but where can I 
find "pygettext.py"?
The download-link to 
(http://www.iro.umontreal.ca/contrib/po-utils/HTML/) ist down since 
several days.

What do I need to edit the ".mo" files?
