module for licence managing

Hi,

after I really finished my application (with a lot of help from this
group. Thanks again) we are thinking about selling it. Now I am
looking for some kind of licence manager. Is there anything available
as a python module?

I have copied some code snippets and can generate a  licence file from
the MAC-address (Windows) and check it, but I don't think this very
sophisticated of reliable. Any docs or links I can follow to learn
more?
